By cross pollinating programs that work versus programs that don’t across the United States, we can begin a more effective approach to dealing with human beings without homes.

There are over 180 cities in America that have criminalized the homeless population. The documentary entitled, NO ADDRESS depicts the attempted criminalization of homelessness in Columbia, SC. You will meet the individuals that fought to rescind the 2013 unanimous City Council vote to criminalize their homeless population. Criminalization of homelessness means go to a shelter, get out of town or be at-risk of going to jail if caught on the streets.
In NO ADDRESS, you will get to know some humans from the homeless community who survive day to day by banishment, abandonment, harassment, ridicule and institutionalism all while keeping their sanity to live another day. In this new era of American society, stereotypes of homelessness no longer exist. You will also receive hard facts that will educate and enlighten others to create real change for humans without homes because housing is a right not a privilege.
